This needs to be shared widely. How about a version as a NYT opinion piece?

I started seeing this billboard last year and looked it up. I’ve been sharing what a lie it is ever since.

Thank you, Marilyn, for writing about it. You’re an excellent writer. I appreciate everything you do.

I wish I had looked it up. I saw it and read it as, the poison-pushers have convinced every small farmer in MO that they need their Roundup to survive in farming. The penny did not drop that this campaign would be of course being done by Big Ag. Although I do know that some small farmers *do* consider Roundup their savior and any risk low and unlikely to ever effect *them*. Great piece,Lucas & Marilyn, keep up the wonderful work!!

and that my friend is the big problem. In fact, the biggest problem in the entire history of Earth; people believing things that aren't true. From peudo-science to superstition to religion (every religion except yours, of course!).

To all the Trumpers out there, I hope they get exactly what they voted for, and then some.

Then we both agree. As for religion, that's been the cause of more wars and cruelty than anything and people still do everything their's teaches them not to do while professing what good followers they are. No thank you, not my cup of tea, I go along with the Golden Rule.

From a video Cunk on Earth. Religious messages of forgiveness and tolerance have encouraged mankind to fight like rats in a shoe for hundred of years.

I laughed out loud the first time I watched it.

I too was brought up on a farm. When I was 18 my parents lost the farm they had worked for years. Dad had to work on hard construction just to support the family. Today it’s owned by a corporation so I agree with you completely. I voted for you in the last election. We must replace all MAGA politicians.

We (in NoVa) have small farmers and we regularly buy milk from the local farmer and attend Farmer's Markets - love their fresh produce. But you're right. Mom and Pop farms are disappearing. Here they get bought out by Data Centers which are popping up like rabbits. Ironically, less than 20 years ago, farmers refused to sell to Disney who wanted to make "civil war Disney". That created a huge bruha about "artifacts from Civil war lost", and I guess Disney just went away. But now the governor and others have decided "data centers are good" so we're losing farm land to them. And burrowing Civil War artifacts beneath huge amounts of concrete.

This is heartbreaking and dangerous! I read constantly, but this is the first time I've seen this. This must be nationally known, so the masses can mobilize behind the cause. Our farmers are our most essential providers of our food supply. We need to fully support them!

It's difficult to support someone who does not like you.

The issue is anti trust action and Biden was pursuing anti trust legal action.

We must bring the JBS Brazilian Company meat packing and farms have purchased Trump’s farming decisions based on a $5 million dollar donation to Trump’s second inaugural event. Biden had tried to change this dilemma, but Trump gutted these guard rails.Trump is NOT putting America first. Small farmers are losing the battle. Trump has put the beef business in serious jeopardy. Price fixing and fraud will control our farming and beef supply chain in this country and have a monopoly on its prices, also. Just another scheme by a big ag business that has purchased the GOP and Trump.

Bayer is celebrating its "victory" in N. Dakota where the legislature passed the Bayer lobbyists written statute tp shield Bayer from injury suits caused by use of Round-Up pesticide.

The same legislation has been submitted by some Missouri legislators but not yet sufficient support for action.

Eventually the farmers will understand that they voted for a pay to play government. I hope deporting immigrants escaping hardship, cartels, corruption was worth it for them.

Bayer may be the current huge company defending glyphosate et al, but that product (and GMO seeds coated with pesticides) was developed by Monsanto, which was acquired by Bayer.

They had this billboard in Kirkwood, MO. Not a farming community but a suburb of St. Louis. Weird.
