Good Morning!
We have a special substack guest tomorrow (tune in, it's going to be cool!), which frees up some of my writing time so, as the title says, today you can ask me anything in the comments, and I WILL reply.
For a while now I've been wanting to do something special for the financial supporters who make this substack possible for all of us so, unlike standard posts, the comments section for this one will be visible to everyone, but only open to paid subscribers.
I am still 72 paid subscribers short of my original goal of 1,000 for this (because I wanted to have enough critical mass that it wasn't embarrassingly silent), but given the great engagement we always have in the comments section—I do read them all and they often lead to future posts—I'm going to give it a go anyway.
And who knows, maybe if you're on the fence on supporting financially this will help nudge you and we will get to a thousand! Which you can do here:

I'm about to go into work. So drop your questions in the comments today and I'll start answering tonight and through tomorrow morning.
Lucas
PS. Although you can ask me anything and I will answer, I reserve the right not to answer directly, lol
What are your future political plans? I very much hope you'll stay in politics and help lead us forward. Your postings on this Substack have been outstanding.
Why does it appear that the Democratic party--and especially the strategists and leaders--so totally ignored preparing counters to the Project 2025 plan that they knew about far in advance of Trump's inauguration? What can be done now? What effort of their own do party strategists and leaders have going? It does not seem like there is anything so comprehensive, strategic, and effective as Project 2025 on the Democrat side.
